Comprehensive Planning and Monitoring System for Goods Supply and Distribution (Bartak)

The goal of this system is to employ intelligent optimization algorithms for periodic fleet planning (real-time, daily, etc.) automatically and integrate it with a fleet tracking system to monitor the distribution performance and align actual performance with the planned schedule. This system has the capability to generate various reports at different levels, including real-time reports, periodic performance reviews, and comprehensive analytical reports on the organization’s distribution system.

General Features of the Planning System:

  • Connection to the organization’s order database and automatic receipt of orders

  • Ability to provide the desired area zoning as input for the algorithm
  • Optimization of existing zoning over time
  • Ability to provide various output plans based on the organization’s needs
  • Determination of the type and size of the required transport fleet

  • Assignment of orders to available fleets
  • Fleet movement planning, including determining the sequence and time of each customer visit
  • Ability to manually edit the provided plan
  • Design of cargo units and packaging
  • Ability to provide analytical reports such as:
    • Sales-to-cost ratio for centers

    • Sales-to-cost ratio for customers

    • Utilized fleet capacity

    • Vehicle performance

    • Zone status

General Features of the Monitoring System:

  • Presentation of various performance reports of the fleet according to the provided plan, such as:
    • Access to real-time location and speed information of the fleet
    • Notification of the fleet’s arrival at each defined location and the position of customers

    • Real-time notification of fleet delays in providing services to customers

    • Ability to automatically send various alerts to the driver and system operator via email or SMS
    • Presentation of various reports on driver violations
    • Presentation of periodic analysis reports on the overall fleet performance
  • Comparative reports with optimally planned states, such as:
    • Comparison of actual and planned distances traveled
    • Comparison of visited locations and customers with planned ones
    • Comparison of actual entry and exit times of the fleet from customer locations with planned times
    • Other comparative performance reports

Ability to send the finalized plan with the fleet

  • In addition to this system, an application is provided to customers, allowing them to automatically send the finalized distribution plan to drivers at the beginning of each day. Drivers can then organize their orders in the vehicle based on this plan and use it as the basis for their daily operations.

Benefits of Implementing the System:

  • Reduction of logistics costs, fuel expenses, and existing losses in the system
  • Increased coverage of customers with available resources and increased organizational income
  • Ability to provide comprehensive analytical reports such as the profit status and logistics costs of customers and the allocation of fleets to different centers
  • Possibility of integrating this system with the organization’s existing software system
  • Improvement of transportation and delivery service quality to customers
  • Integration of the planning system with a comprehensive fleet tracking and performance monitoring system
  • Ability to provide detailed reports at various levels to improve the organization’s logistics performance
  • Connectivity with other existing systems in the organization
  • Reduction of environmental pollutants by optimizing logistics decisions
  • Development of software infrastructure for core competencies with the aim of enhancing competitive capabilities
  • Improvement of resource efficiency and satisfaction of stakeholders (shareholders, customers, society, etc.).
